Cookies and external services

This website does not set any cookies and does not use any analytics, tracking or advertising services. The interactive explanations and calculators work without tracking.

Stored setting: colour scheme

The only thing stored is your choice of colour scheme (light, dark or system) – and only if you change it using the switch in the page header. Your browser stores it in local storage (localStorage) under the key akku-theme. This information is not transmitted to us or to third parties. You can delete it at any time by removing the site data for this website in your browser settings.

Locally embedded content

Fonts and images are delivered together with the website. Google reviews are included as text excerpts; no review service is called up automatically.

Hosting

The website is provided via Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes technical connection data such as your IP address in order to deliver and secure the pages.

Google Maps only after a click

The map on the “About us” and “Legal notice” pages is only loaded when you click “Show Google map”. Without this click, no connection to Google is established. After the click, data such as your IP address is transmitted to Google, and Google may set cookies. Google’s privacy policy

Contact form

The contact form is only transmitted via the external form service FormSubmit when you submit it; a spam protection check using Google reCAPTCHA, which may set cookies, may take place in the process. Details can be found in the privacy policy.

Links to other websites

Google and other linked providers are only accessed when you open the respective link.
